About Us
About Us
About Us
Tens of thousands of people across Britain attend Elim churches every week. Congregations vary in size but all have similar aims that unites them. It is the desire to connect to God in worship and to reach out to the community with the love of God.
A century ago our founders wanted the name of their new movement to express their vision and values and so they chose “Elim”. This was the name of a biblical oasis that the people of Israel discovered as they wandered through the wilderness. It provided both shade and refreshment for all.

Our Vision
Our Vision

To provide a place where people can gain a deeper knowledge and relationship with God, through Worship, the Word and through the work of the Holy Spirit.
To give Love, support and encouragement to each other in the body of Christ. Allowing each one to develop and mature in their walk with Christ.
To reach out in Unity with other churches and the community by seeking to serve its needs. By doing this we aim to show the love of Christ and to fulfill the gospel of the Lord Jesus.

Safeguarding
Safeguarding
Safeguarding
We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults across our Elim church and ministries. We believe that every person has the right to be valued, safe and free from harm.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and together we are dedicated to creating environments where abuse of any kind is not tolerated and where all concerns are taken seriously, responded to promptly, and handled with care and integrity.
We will continue to ensure that our leaders, volunteers, and teams are equipped, trained, and supported to follow best practice in safeguarding. We remain accountable to each other and to God for upholding the highest standards of protection and pastoral care.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
